Yes, there are additional potential consequences for DUI Conviction.  These include but are not limited to: permanence on one's driving record, loss of work time, alcohol/drug evaluation and classes or a substance abuse treatment program before his/her driving privileges may be reinstated, must meet requirements of the S.O.S.'s Dept. of Administrative Hearings prior to obtaining a restricted driving permit, offender's vehicle may be seized or impounded, a Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device (BAIID) may be installed in the vehicle of the offender, must carry high-risk auto insurance for 36 straight months, vehicle registration will be suspended or revoked.
